Printmaking   Stone and plate lithography traditional media as well as pronto plates, sharpie method, and Xerox transfer; copper & zinc etching, dry point, engraving; reduction relief; letterpress printing; collograph; monotype & monoprinting; silkscreen; and the preparation of digital images and transfers for each of the aforementioned processes, as appropriate. I am able to prepare full color images digitally for four color process printing in traditional print media, and I have experience working large format in a variety of mediums.

Other Media   Oil, acrylic & watercolor painting including canvas stretching and panel construction; drawing with ink wash, charcoal, pencil, etc. Machine and hand sewing, appliqué, paper and fabric collage and crochet. Woodworking skills with sanding, painting, carving, scroll saw, band saw and some table saw experience on personal projects as well as working with students.

Digital   Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Powerpoint; Word Processing; Excel; HTML/XML coding; CSS; DreamWeaver ; iMovie.

Education   Experience teaching Beginning Drawing, 2-D Design, Beginning Intaglio, Beginning Lithography and Beginning Printmaking courses covering stone lithography, relief, screen print, soft ground, hard ground line etch, rosin & spray paint aquatinting, and other basic printmaking processes. Participated in summer seminars on curriculum development and teaching practices for 2-D Design, Beginning Drawing and 3-D Design.
