I’ve gotten a bit more done on those drawings I posted about last time, and I’ve started a new one. Things are slowing down now as I get involved in other projects, but I hope to get a bit more work in on them this evening.
I plan to leave the top drawing in graphite and go in with some ink. I plan to go into the drawing below with ink, as well, and I’m still fussing with the shape of the bottom left guitar and messing around with the space and borders.
A quote to accompany these progressions, from Drawings of Jim Dine by Judith Brodie:
“For Dine, apparently, the power of memory, ever misremembered, carries more weight than facts.”
I love your work, why the beggar I’ve failed to pay more attention is beyond me. Will follow more closely.
Thank you! I really enjoy looking at your blog. Great stuff!

Great drawings…a bit weird perhaps. I love the horse in the first one and the fore shortened woman is good, why the ‘boobed’ bird? Interesting stuff!
